La candela di Natale di Schlitz, nella piccola città hessiana di Schlitz, è con un'altezza di circa 42 metri la più grande candela di Natale che non è fatta di cera. È presente nel Guinness dei primati dal 1992.
Dal 1991, il torrione della Hinterburg, il torrone di 36 metri, viene avvolto ogni anno nel mese di novembre in un panno rosso e una fiamma alta circa 6 metri, composta da circa 140 lampadine, viene montata sulla cima della torre. Con un ascensore all'interno della torre è possibile raggiungere la cima della candela e godere della vista. Nella piazza del mercato del centro storico si tiene il mercatino di Natale durante i fine settimana d'Avvento, al quale la candela serve come attrazione speciale.
