La Zeil è una strada nel centro-nord di Francoforte sul Meno. Dalla fine del XIX secolo è considerata una delle strade commerciali più famose e ad alto volume di affari in Germania. In precedenza, era soprattutto conosciuta per i suoi sontuosi alberghi e palazzi dell'epoca barocca e del classicismo. La parte occidentale, lunga circa 500 metri, è una zona pedonale dagli anni '70. A ovest, dove in piazza An der Hauptwache si dirama la Katharinenpforte, inizia Roßmarkt, mentre a est la piazza Konstablerwache è ancora parte della zona pedonale. La parte orientale della Zeil è una strada di collegamento tra Konstablerwache e Friedberger Anlage.
