L'area protetta del paesaggio Rosengarten–Kiekeberg–Stuvenwald si estende attraverso le montagne di Harburg da Neu Wulmstorf e il confine statale con Amburgo a nord fino a Buchholz nella Northern Heide nel distretto di Harburg in Bassa Sassonia. Si trova quindi nei comuni di Neu Wulmstorf, Wenzendorf, Rosengarten e Seevetal, nel consorzio comunale di Hollenstedt, così come nella città di Buchholz nella Northern Heide.
Con la sua prima designazione nel 1965, l'LSG è una delle aree protette più antiche del distretto.
Un'area centrale di particolare importanza è stata designata come NSG Foreste di faggi nel Rosengarten.
