Il Teatro di Duisburg nel centro di Duisburg è stato costruito dal 1911 al 1912 in stile neoclassico su progetto dell'architetto Martin Dülfer. Ha 1117 posti e, nonostante alcune modifiche, è tutelato come monumento dal 1985. Serve come sede della Deutsche Oper am Rhein, un'associazione teatrale fondata nel 1956 dalle città di Duisburg e Düsseldorf.
