Wollseifen era un villaggio sull'Altipiano di Dreiborn, non lontano dal ex castello dell'Ordine Nazista di Vogelsang, nell'attuale Parco Nazionale della Eifel.
Dopo la fine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, le forze britanniche presero possesso del villaggio. Gli abitanti ebbero tre settimane di tempo per sgomberare e lasciare il villaggio. Nei terreni circostanti fu istituito il poligono militare di Vogelsang, che nel 1950 fu consegnato all'esercito belga. Dal 1° gennaio 2006, dopo la cessazione dell'attività del poligono, il luogo, oggi un sito archeologico, è nuovamente accessibile al pubblico. L'abitato abbandonato di Wollseifen è un sito archeologico registrato e un monumento archeologico della ArchaeoRegion Nordeifel.
