Il Gymnasium Alexander von Humboldt è un liceo con un profilo scientifico situato nella zona di Spindlersfeld del quartiere Köpenick, vicino al fiume Spree. La scuola, intitolata ad Alexander von Humboldt, è l'erede della Dorotheenschule di Köpenick.
L'edificio principale all'angolo tra Oberspree e Mentzelstraße è stato costruito tra il 1928 e il 1929 in stile Bauhaus, seguendo i progetti e sotto la direzione dell'architetto Max Taut. Sull'entrata principale è presente un rilievo in ceramica di Rudolf Belling che rappresenta la santa Dorotea mentre distribuisce pane ai profughi. L'atrio d'ingresso ha una scala a più rampe e collega il corpo di edificio delle aule, leggermente curvato e di cinque piani, con la palestra lungo la Mentzelstraße e il corpo lungo la Oberspreestraße.
