Meuro è una parte del comune di Schipkau nel distretto di Oberspreewald-Lausitz in Brandeburgo. Il sindaco è Frank Priemer.
Meuro viene citato per la prima volta nel 1474. Il capo dell'ufficio del distretto elettorale di Senftenberg, Kunz von Breitenbach, lo menzionò insieme ai luoghi Rauno/Rowna e Sauo/Sowjo, anch'essi citati per la prima volta, in un rapporto richiesto sulla situazione dell'ufficio. Meuro, simile ai villaggi circostanti, è stato a lungo un luogo agricolo. Oltre all'agricoltura e all'allevamento, la viticoltura e l'apicoltura hanno caratterizzato la vita nel villaggio. I contadini di Meuro, come quelli di Sorno, Klettwitz e Lieske, erano obbligati a servire nel distretto di Senftenberg. Dovevano trasportare il letame dalle stalle delle pecore nei vigneti dell'ufficio nella zona di Hörlitzer. La chiesa, la scuola e il cimitero si trovavano nel villaggio vicino di Klettwitz.
