Il monastero di Marienwohlde era un monastero birittino lungo l'antica strada del sale, nell'odierno territorio comunale di Lankau, non lontano dalla città di Mölln.
Il doppio monastero di Marienwohlde apparteneva all'Ordine del Redentore, fondato solo nel XIV secolo da Birgitta di Vadstena. Insolito per il trasferimento culturale dall'Occidente all'Oriente, comune nel Baltico medievale, fu fondato da monache e monaci del monastero di Mariendal, anch'esso fondato solo nel 1407 a Reval, secondo la regola agostiniana nel 1412/13. Inizialmente si trovava vicino a Bälau, ma già nel 1413 fu trasferito nell'area dell'odierna comunità di Lauenburg, Lankau. Il monastero si trovava nell'area dell'attuale tenuta di Marienwohlde.
