Nel nucleo del quartiere Kerner di Stetten, non lontano dalla chiesa di San Vito e dalla piazza di San Pietro, si trova il vecchio municipio.
La costruzione dell'edificio è stata data da una perizia dendrocronologica all'anno 1520. È stato costruito nello stile del fachwerk alemanno. All'interno dell'edificio sono stati scoperti numerosi reperti risalenti al periodo compreso tra il 1550 e il 1900. Nel 1698 e nel 1707 viene menzionato come municipio. Prima del XVIII secolo, il piano terra era aperto e veniva utilizzato per le bancarelle dei mercanti. Successivamente, il piano è stato murato. Questo è stato poi utilizzato per i vigili del fuoco locali e per la pesa pubblica. Nel 1923 l'edificio è stato completamente intonacato, compreso il fachwerk. Dal 1993 al 1995 è seguita una ristrutturazione. In occasione di questa, nel 1995, il fachwerk è stato nuovamente messo in mostra.
