La chiesa di San Giorgio è la chiesa parrocchiale evangelico-luterana nel centro della città di Nördlingen. La chiesa tardo-gotica, costruita tra il 1427 e il 1505, con il suo campanile ben visibile, il Daniel, costituisce il simbolo della città.
Il consiglio della città di Nördlingen decise la costruzione della chiesa di San Giorgio il 17 ottobre 1427. Il coro della chiesa a navata fu completato nel 1451, e nel 1454 iniziò la costruzione del campanile. L'altare maggiore di Friedrich Herlin fu completato nel 1462, e il campanile nel 1490. Con il completamento della volta nel 1505, la costruzione, che è per la maggior parte in suevit, fu conclusa. Poiché Nördlingen si unì alla riforma sotto Kaspar Kantz, San Giorgio divenne negli anni 1523/1525 la chiesa cittadina evangelica.
