Il poligono di tiro di Koblenz-Schmidtenhöhe è una struttura militare a Koblenz. Il poligono, che si estende su 776 ettari, si trova nel quartiere di Horchheimer Höhe su un'altura che scende verso la valle del Reno, tra la città di Koblenz e Fachbach. Alcune parti della struttura sono oggi protette e vengono gestite dal Naturschutzbund Deutschland. Il paesaggio di pascolo semi-aperto offre un habitat per specie rare. L'area è di proprietà dell'Agenzia federale per le esigenze immobiliari e dipende dal comando regionale della Renania-Palatinato. Nel settembre 2017, 235 ettari della Schmidtenhöhe sono stati trasferiti in modo permanente alla fondazione NABU Nazionale patrimonio naturale.
