L'area protetta di Werder Kietz si trova nel comune di Lenzerwische nel distretto di Prignitz, in Brandeburgo.
L'area con il numero identificativo 1423 è stata sperimentata protetta con una normativa del 16 maggio 1990. L'area naturale di circa 127 ha si estende a nord-ovest, ovest e sud del centro abitato di Lenzerwische e a ovest di Kietz, una parte abitata del comune di Lenzerwische. L'area si trova direttamente lungo il fiume Elba, che scorre a ovest. La frontiera statale con la Bassa Sassonia si trova lungo il centro dell'Elba, con la B 195 che scorre a est.
