Il fiume Aschaff è un affluente destro e settentrionale del Meno, lungo circa 17 km, che con il suo affluente Kleinachaff arriva a circa 21 chilometri, situato presso Mainaschaff nel distretto di Aschaffenburg in Bassa Franconia. Scorre verso ovest attraverso la Spessart bavarese.
Il nome originale ascafa deriva dalla parola alto-tedesca asc per frassino e dalla parola indoeuropea Ap, che significa acqua. Da questo si può spiegare come "un corso d'acqua composto da frassini". Il fiume ha dato il nome alle comunità di Waldaschaff e Mainaschaff, così come alla città di Aschaffenburg, tra i cui quartieri Damm e Strietwald scorre. Anche il fiume Elsava, che scorre nelle vicinanze, ha la stessa origine del nome.
