Il museo delle mulini non mostra solo il funzionamento delle attrezzature tecniche della mulino ancora oggi operative. Nella sezione "Storie di villaggio", che è attualmente in fase di sviluppo, i visitatori possono esplorare la vita del villaggio di tempi passati e ascoltare le storie di alcuni degli antichi abitanti del villaggio. Nel giardino esterno del museo, sull'isola dei mulini, vi è un forno e un capanno per sbiancare, un mulino e una fucina da esplorare mentre si passeggia tra i laghetti delle mulini. Per il benessere fisico si occupa, d'estate (dal 21 maggio), ogni domenica dalle 14 il caffè "Cascina dei cavalli". Inoltre, è visitabile un giardino contadino.
