La breve escursione inizia presso la Casa degli Ospiti a Motzen, che ospita anche un museo locale. Passando accanto alla chiesa con l'ulivo storico noto, il sentiero conduce verso l'altura. L'elevazione è alta solo 87 metri, ma offre una bella vista sulla chiesa e sul lago di Motzen.
La riserva naturale "Töpchiner Seen" viene attraversata in un breve tratto. In inverno si può scivolare sulla montagna Kahlen.
