Partendo da Hohenrode, seguite il margine della foresta in direzione di Rumbeck. Passerete accanto alla Foresteria Dobbelstein, costruita nel 1896 e che prende il nome dal capoforesta prussiano Dobbelstein. Infine, il percorso vi porterà attraverso la foresta con una breve deviazione fino alle rovine della Hünenburg.
Rovine del castello Hünenburg: Della fortificazione un tempo grande 100 x 50 m, protetta da mura di pietra, sovrastante Hohenrode, rimangono solo fondamenta e cantine crollate. Fu costruita intorno al 1170 dal conte Konrad von Wunstorf e Roden.
Percorso: Hohenrode - Foresteria Dobbelstein - Hünenburg - Hohenrode
