Morano Calabro [ˌmoˈraːno ˈkaːlabro] è un comune italiano di 3 921 abitanti situato nella zona settentrionale della provincia di Cosenza in Calabria. È uno dei principali centri del parco nazionale del Pollino.
La sua posizione strategica nell'alta valle del fiume Coscile alle pendici del massiccio del Pollino, ha contribuito al suo sviluppo in epoca antica ed al suo splendore nei periodi medievale e rinascimentale, in particolare sotto la signoria dei Sanseverino di Bisignano.
