Buccheri è un comune italiano di 1 820 abitanti del libero consorzio comunale di Siracusa in Sicilia. Fa parte del circuito dei borghi più belli d'Italia .
Il nome di Buccheri è incerto. Una prima ipotesi sostiene possa derivare dall'arabo بقرة che significa "vacca". Altri citano un'origine in comune con la parola siciliana vucceri , derivante dal francese antico bouchier .
