Luserna è un comune italiano di 271 abitanti della provincia di Trento ed è un'isola linguistica cimbra. Il suo nome deriverebbe infatti dal cimbro Laas, che voleva indicare valico, località di accesso alla Valsugana. Fa parte dei borghi più belli d'Italia.
Luserna si colloca sul settore nord-occidentale dell'Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, non lontano da passo Vezzena che permette il collegamento con l'altopiano di Lavarone.
