Il Passo San Boldo è un passo e una salita molto particolari. Il passo è largo solo una corsia e il traffico è controllato da diversi semafori. Ci sono cinque gallerie scavate nella roccia con numerosi tornanti e sei ponti. C'è un limite di velocità di 30 km/h e un limite di altezza di 3,2 m, dopo che gli autobus sono rimasti ripetutamente bloccati nella galleria. Questo piccolo passo di montagna collega le città di Trichiana e Tovena su una distanza di 17 km. Il passo si trova sul margine meridionale delle Alpi e collega la Val Belluna con la Val Mareno su un'altitudine di 706 metri.
