La battaglia di Novara fu una delle ultime battaglie della prima guerra d'indipendenza italiana, svoltasi il 23 marzo 1849, durante il Risorgimento e si concluse con la completa vittoria dell'esercito imperiale austriaco guidato dal maresciallo Josef Radetzky sull'Armata Sarda comandata dal generale polacco Wojciech Chrzanowski.
