Prato Piazza è un passo alpino che mette in collegamento Braies e Carbonin, a un'altitudine di 1993 m s.l.m.
Presso il passo si estende l'altopiano Prato Piazza, parte delle Dolomiti, in Alto Adige, sito all'interno del parco naturale Fanes - Sennes - Braies.
L'altopiano si estende a un'altitudine di circa 2000 m e si trova alla base del Picco di Vallandro e del monte Specie.
Esso è protetto dall'UNESCO per via del prezioso ecosistema alpino e del panorama a cui si può assistere. Dall'altopiano, infatti, oltre al Picco di Vallandro, è possibile ammirare la Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo, le Tre cime di Lavaredo, la Tofana e il monte Cristallo.
