Il Brenta, tradizionalmente al femminile, la Brenta è un fiume italiano che nasce dai laghi di Caldonazzo e di Levico in Trentino-Alto Adige; è uno dei principali fiumi tra quelli che sfociano nell'alto Adriatico, a nord del Po. La sua lunghezza complessiva è di circa 174 km, misura che lo colloca al tredicesimo posto in Italia. A Ca' Pasqua, nei pressi di Chioggia, alla Brenta si unisce come affluente il fiume Bacchiglione formando un grosso alveo che dopo 6 km sfocia nel mare Adriatico.
