Il Gargano , soprannominato talvolta lo sperone d'Italia, è una subregione dell'Italia coincidente con l'omonimo promontorio montuoso che si estende nella parte settentrionale della Puglia, l'antica Daunia, e che corrisponde al settore nord-orientale della provincia di Foggia. Semi-circondato dal mare Adriatico, ma limitato a ovest dal Tavoliere delle Puglie, nel suo territorio è compreso il parco nazionale del Gargano.
