Sferracavallo è una frazione di Palermo, inserita nella VII circoscrizione. Consiste in un borgo marinaro molto attivo già dal XV secolo, sorto attorno ad un golfo delimitato dal promontorio di Capo Gallo e da Monte Billiemi. Per storia e tradizione, nonché per le caratteristiche morfologiche del territorio che per molto tempo hanno isolato l'area rispetto al resto della provincia, il quartiere vanta una forte identità.
