Il Amstelveld è una piazza nel centro di Amsterdam, tra il Reguliersgracht, il Prinsengracht e la Kerkstraat, vicino alla Utrechtsestraat. La Amstelkerk, un edificio prevalentemente in legno, si trova sulla piazza. La caratteristica vegetazione è composta da 46 alberi di noce alata caucasici.
Nel 1658 Amsterdam doveva espandersi e fu pianificata una lunga strada tra il Keizersgracht e il Prinsengracht. Lungo questa strada vennero create quattro grandi aree per nuove chiese. La strada fu chiamata Kerkstraat e una di queste aree vuote divenne l'Amstelveld.
