Il Parco è il parco più famoso di Rotterdam, situato a ovest del Centro. Il Parco si trova tra il Nuovo Maas, il Parkhaven, il Westzeedijk e il Quartiere Marittimo. Lungo il parco si estende la Parkkade. Il Parco non ha un nome ufficiale, ma è conosciuto come Il Parco, eventualmente specificato come Il Parco vicino all'Euromast, presso il Maastunnel o Il Parco a Ovest.
Nel corso degli anni, nel Parco si sono tenuti molti eventi. I più famosi sono la Manifestazione Nazionale dell'Energia nel 1955, la Floriade del 1960, durante la quale è stata costruita l'Euromast, Fenomena nel 1985 e dal 1977 al 2012 il Poetry Park annuale, ora il Dunya Festival. E dal 1986 si celebra annualmente la Giornata della Musica Romantica. Nell'inverno 2012/2013 si è svolto il China Light nel Parco, un festival della luce cinese con sculture di luce di vari colori.
