Wapserveen è un paese nel comune di Westerveld, nella provincia olandese di Drenthe. Nel 2021 aveva 790 abitanti. È originariamente un villaggio lineare. Fino alla fusione comunale del 1° gennaio 1998, il paese faceva parte del comune di Havelte, che si unì a Westerveld. Il villaggio si trova a nord-est di Steenwijk, a nord della Havelterberg e a sud del Wapserveensche Aa. Con alcune strade secondarie con nuove costruzioni, è un lungo villaggio lineare con molti degli originali case contadine con hallenhuis sul lato meridionale.
