Nel 1633 Willem Ripperda ottenne il permesso di costruire i mulini di Oostendorper. All'inizio del ventesimo secolo, il mulino era in procinto di deteriorarsi e dovette essere restaurato nel 1930. Nel 1946 i mulini scomparvero in gran parte nell'acqua alta dello stagno e furono completamente ristrutturati solo nel 1987. Da maggio 1988 il mulino è di nuovo in funzione ed è accessibile ai visitatori che possono vedere come viene macinata la farina e spremuto l'olio.
