La Chiesa di Santa Maria Vergine è il nome ufficiale di questa chiesa a Lienden. La parrocchia di Lienden è stata fondata alla fine dell'undicesimo secolo. Il primo pastore riformato arrivò nel 1582. L'attuale edificio della chiesa risale, come il campanile, al quindicesimo secolo. Nella cappella della chiesa si trovano affreschi risalenti allo stesso periodo. L'ultima restaurazione risale al 1980. Nella stessa piazza di fronte alla chiesa si trova l'ex parrocchia, una bellissima fattoria intonacata di bianco.
