La Waalsdorpervlakte è una pianura nell'area delle dune di Meijendel vicino a Wassenaar e all'Aia. La pianura è stata a lungo utilizzata come campo di addestramento militare del Campo Militare di Waalsdorp. Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, qui più di 250 persone furono uccise dall'occupante tedesco. Dopo la guerra, questo luogo divenne uno dei principali luoghi di commemorazione delle guerre nei Paesi Bassi.
