La Cappella della Senhora do Resgate fu costruita alla fine del XVII secolo e si trova nel cuore della zona turistica di Viana do Castelo.
Poiché si trova in una strada chiusa al traffico e in cui sorgono edifici simili, la facciata non salta all'occhio e può passare inosservata.
All'interno si trovano le immagini di São Crispim, Santa Rita e Senhora do Resgate, quest'ultima sull'altare, la cui decorazione è molto bella.
