Questa è la seconda cappella del santuario del Bom Jesus.
Questa cappella raffigura il momento in cui Gesù prega nel Giardino degli Ulivi (Getsemani) , appena prima di essere tradito e arrestato. Gesù prega da solo mentre i suoi discepoli Pietro, Giacomo e Giovanni si addormentano. Un angelo appare e gli offre un calice, a simboleggiare la sofferenza che dovrà sopportare.
All'interno c'è un gruppo di statue : Gesù è inginocchiato in preghiera. I discepoli addormentati giacciono a terra. L'angelo con il calice è appeso sopra di lui.
