La Grand Prismatic Spring nel Parco nazionale di Yellowstone è la più grande sorgente calda negli Stati Uniti, e la terza più grande del mondo, dopo Frying Pan Lake in Nuova Zelanda e Boiling Lake in Dominica. Essa si trova nel Midway Geyser Basin ed è situata a circa 12 chilometri a Nord del celebre geyser Old Faithful.
La sorgente venne denominata così dai geologi della spedizione Hayden del 1871 per via della sua sorprendente colorazione. I suoi colori brillanti sono in parte dovuti alla presenza di organismi termofili e sono simili a quelli di un arcobaleno generati dalla dispersione della luce bianca da parte di un prisma ottico: rosso, arancione, giallo, verde e blu.
