Zaalkerk, gebouwd in 1773 door baron van der Heyden de Belderbusch, groot-commandeur van de Duitse Orde te Alden-Biesen (1767-1789), zoals aangeduid door een wapenschild met datering in de noordelijke zijbeuk. Deze kerk werd aangebouwd tegen de behouden toren der oorspronkelijke kerk; hij behield een oude, romaanse kern in de silex-onderbouw, verhoogd in mergelsteen begin 13de eeuw. Het koor, evenals het neoclassicistische portaal schijnen te dateren uit een recentere periode (eerste helft 19de eeuw ?). Aan alle zijden, behalve de voorkant omringd door het ommuurde kerkhof; twee linden vóór de toren.
