De Paddestraat is een begrip voor wielerliefhebbers en oudheidkundigen. Het is een kasseiweg in Velzeke en is een deel van de Romeinse weg Boulogne-sur-Mer - Velzeke - Keulen. De weg start op het Romeins Plein te Velzeke en loopt door tot Roborst (Zwalm) waar de naam verandert in Borstekouterstraat.
In 1973 deed de Ronde van Vlaanderen deze kasseiweg voor de eerste maal aan.
