Op de Britse militaire begraafplaats ‘Dozinghem Military Cemetery’ rusten 3.312 doden uit WOI. De begraafplaats is ontworpen door Sir Reginald Blomfield en heeft een oppervlakte van zo'n 12.300 m². De naam Dozinghem – ook de naam van het evacuatiehospitaal uit WOI - is afgeleid van het Engelse werkwoord 'to dose': het in kleine hoeveelheden toedienen van medicijn of verdovingsmiddel.

De Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) staat als beheerder in voor het onderhoud van deze begraafplaats - www.cwgc.org
