Deze tunnel werd in het voorjaar van 2013 geboord, hij is 37 meter lang en volledig van gewapend beton. De tunnel verbindt Borgloon met het buitengebied. Zo moeten je niet langer de drukke Sint-Truidersteenweg trotseren op je wandeling.
