De Familieschrijnwerkerij Van Nieuwenhuyze kreeg heel wat opdrachten van de familie De Saedeleer: weefgetouwen en onderdelen (o.a. bobijntjes), kaders (of ramen) voor de schilderijen. Daarnaast maakten ze ook het mobiele schildersatelier voor Valerius De
Saedeleer. Dat "huizeken voor in te schilderen" werd in Etikhove geleverd in juni 1923.
