De kerk in De Klijte is de driebeukige neogotische Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk van 1923 en heeft een toren van 25 meter hoog.
Ze bezit enkele voorwerpen uit de 15e eeuwse laat-gotische Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekapel, die in 1918 afbrandde. Er staat een vroeg-17e eeuws beeld van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw met Kind. Schilderij op leder (St.-Blasius) uit de 18de eeuw. Verschillende gedenkplaten o.a. ter ere van Franse militairen, omgekomen in de omgeving van De Klijte. Het wapenschild in de gevel is van de familie Bulteel.
De O.-L.-Vrouwkapel, met twee lindes, is uitgegroeid tot parochiekerk ter ere van Sint-Blasius.
