De voormalige hoeve gelegen in de Schutterijstraat 20 is langs de zijde van de Langstraat afgesloten met een afsluitingshaag van meidoorn en haagbeuk. Het zuidelijk deel van deze haag, gelegen langs een jonge boomgaard, wordt nog geschoren. In de haag komt veel klimop voor. De haag is voor het eerst zichtbaar op de topografische kaart van het Krijgsdepot uit 1873 als scheiding tussen het erf en landbouwgronden en de, toen ingesneden, weg. Op de militaire topografische kaart uit 1932 is het hoogteverschil tussen weg en landbouwgronden hier weggewerkt. De haag werd, sinds haar oorspronkelijk aanplant, vermoedelijk al (meermaals) vervangen.
