‘ Het lezen van Teixeira’s gedicht is als een wandeling door een landschap. Een tocht van stad naar platteland, van heden naar verleden, en terug. Het gedicht start bij de Basiliek van Koekelberg “dat lege pakhuis van God ” en eindigt in een poel. Net als het gedicht maakt mijn artistieke interventie de lezer- toeschouwer tot hoofdpersonage in het landschap. De brug is een ontmoetingsplaats waar gedicht, verbeelding en beschouwing samengaan.’
