Deze carrière, inactief in 2002 (project voor herstart van de winning), bestaat uit een opgraving van meer dan 400 m en een uitgestrekt gebied van stortheuvels, gekoloniseerd door een puinvegetatie met Rumex scutatus en Sedum album. De enkele tijdelijke poelen en plassen op de bodem van de opgraving zijn van belang voor amfibieën (Alytes obstetricans). De droge delen van de site herbergen de Muurlang.
