Dat een administratief gebouw geen grijze, eentonige blok beton hoeft te zijn, bewijst het Vlinderpaleis. De Britse toparchitect Richard Rogers realiseerde dit gerechtsgebouw in 2006. De opmerkelijke vleugels op het dak geven het gebouw zijn naam.
Het horeca-aanbod op de Bolivarplaats waaraan het Vlinderpaleis ligt, kan je doen twijfelen om nu al een eetpauze in te lassen. Frietjes, sushi, Grieks: het kan allemaal. In café Boekowski kan je niet alleen iets drinken. De rijen boeken tegen de muur geven je een mooi excuus om lang op café te hangen. Een goed boek, weet je wel.
