De Plantentuin aan de Leopoldstraat in Antwerpen is een uniek groen plekje in het centrum van de stad. De Plantentuin heeft een geschiedenis van meer dan tweehonderd jaar.
Je vindt hier een groot aantal uitzonderlijke bomen en struiken. De collectie kruiden telt meer dan tweeduizend stuks. In de serre is er een grote verzameling cactussen en uitheemse planten. Aanvankelijk was het de tuin met geneeskrachtige planten van het aanpalende Sint-Elisabethhospitaal. Sinds 1926 wordt de tuin beheerd door het stadsbestuur. In 1950 werd de Plantentuin geklasseerd als waardevol landschap.
