Deze “grot” werd kort na 1930 gecreëerd op initiatief van Abbé Gustave Hubaux, de pastoor van Dieupart, die in 1935 overleed.
Ze wordt ook "Arcade de la vierge" (boog van de maagd) genoemd.
Ze ligt langs het pad 'sentier du docteur Thiry' dat het gebied genaamd "rochers de vieux jardin" doorkruist en is zichtbaar vanaf de weg N633 nabij de kerk Notre-Dame de Dieupart.
Anno 2024 lijkt het mariabeeld verdwenen te zijn.
