In dit regentschapsgebouw werd in de 18e eeuw graan opgeslagen, nu is het een cultureel centrum. Het werd gebouwd boven op grote gewelfde wijnkelders waar witte wijn uit de Vaud opgeslagen werd. Momenteel is er in deze kelders een restaurant gevestigd. Midden op de Kornplatz staat trots de Kindlifresserbrunnen (fontijn van de reus), een werk van Hans Gieng dat al sinds 1545 hele generaties kinderen schrik aanjaagt. De reus verorbert een kleuter en houdt in zijn linkerhand de rest van zijn maaltijd...
