Deze bergweg is een veelgebruikte toegangweg over de Bistinenpas naar de wereldberoemde Simplonpas. Hij doorkruist het wildromantische Nanztal. Vanuit Giw gaat het richting Gebidempas, vanwaar men een prachtig uitzicht heeft op de Walliser en Berner Alpen. Volg daarna de natuurlijke weg richting Mättwe in het Nanztal, voordat u naar de Bistinenpas (2400m) omhoog gaat. Daal af richting Simplonpas om de tocht te beëindigen.
