De Teufelskanzel dichtbij Lindewerra in het westen van de Thüringse Landkreis Eichsfeld is een Buntsandsteinrotsblok op ongeveer 452 m boven NHN gelegen op de heuvelrug Höheberg, die behoort tot het Obereichsfeld en het Untere Werrabergland. Het biedt goede mogelijkheden voor uitzicht, vooral op de Werraschleife bij Lindewerra.
De Teufelskanzel ligt in het noordwesten van het natuurpark Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal. Het bevindt zich noordoostelijk boven de aan de Werra gelegen plaatselijke gemeente Lindewerra op de kam van de beboste hoogteberg, ongeveer 1,1 kilometer zuidoostelijk van de op de Junkerkuppe gelegen top. De dichtstbijzijnde stad is Bad Sooden-Allendorf, die ongeveer 6 km naar het zuiden ligt; de hoofdplaats Heilbad Heiligenstadt ligt ongeveer 13 km noordoostelijk.
