Het Rijnlandse Schildersmuseum in Bonn is een museum dat wordt beheerd door een particuliere vereniging, met als doel oude en bijna vergeten technieken en gereedschappen van het schildersambacht voor het nageslacht te behouden.
Eerste plannen voor de oprichting van een dergelijk museum dateren al uit 1979. Met de oprichting van een "Vereniging ter Bevordering van het Rijnlandse Schildersmuseum Bonn e.V." in 1985 konden concretere plannen voor de inrichting en financiering beginnen. Vooral gepensioneerde meester-schilders hebben zich via het lidmaatschap van de vereniging ingezet voor het concept, de opbouw en het onderhoud van de tentoonstelling. Het museum werd op 10 november 1989 geopend.
